The deckchair appeared in the 10th century, on the French Riviera beaches.  It was refined by Robert Mallet-Stevens for the Viscount of Noailles’ villa swimming pool in Hyères, France.  It’s now been redesigned to offer utmost comfort.  Made of oiled and stained oak, covered with a large cotton, sailboat-type canvas, upholstered with leather, made by a master sailmaker.  With its long cushion, you’ll be comfortable in the shade or in the blazing sun.
