This design is inspired by the wet nurse’s chair, characterized by a very low seat and a very high backrest. In the past, the wet nurses used this chair to feed the child by the fire or, more generally, to be at the child’s level. Some of these chairs could also serve as Prie-Dieu. Its numerous rungs allow you to hang and organize your clothes or towels. The Ageinouiadou, “Prie Dieu” in Provençal, can be placed near the bed or in the bathroom.
